Well, the backend products are the products that you can offer to your existing customers (your subscribers or your buyers), after they have made their initial purchase. The reason why backend products are the key of those 7 ideas is that it is easier for you to sell your products to your existing customers rather than new customers. Those existing customers are willing to purchase your products, because they have done their initial purchase and the relationship between your existing customer might be good.
The backend products can be anything for existing customers related to their initial purchase. For example, if you are selling the digital cameras, your backend products could be: digital camera accessories, digital camera book, and other complementary products.
The 7 powerful ideas for your backend products can be described as follows:
(1) Offer products that complement your initial product
For example, if you sell golf clubs, offer your customers a golf club bag to carry them in. Or you could offer golf balls, golf tees, golf shoes, golf training videos -- the list is endless!
